Privacy notice
Last updated 3 November 2026. This page explains the main data categories used by AesPDF Document Access.
Data we handle
AesPDF stores account names, email addresses, optional company names, password hashes, session records, and API key records. Deliveries include the document name, optional recipient email and message, access code, expiry, and an uploaded file or HTTPS destination. Code lookup and file access records include the event type and time.
How data is used
Data is used to create and resolve delivery codes, stream uploaded files, maintain account sessions, display owned deliveries, and support API access. Browser storage remembers your language preference. Contact links open your email application; enquiries are handled through email.
Operational notes
Anyone with a valid code can retrieve its delivery details and open the document; the recipient email does not verify a visitor's identity. Expiry or revocation prevents later access through the code but does not withdraw copies already downloaded. Do not upload unnecessary personal information. Keep access codes private and revoke exposed API keys.
